Summer Solstice

Today marks the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere. Today's holiday is called Litha or Midsummer in Pagan and Wiccan religions. Many of the myths and traditions of this day revolve around celebrating and honoring the sun/God at the peak of his power in the yearly cycle.

Happy Summer Solstice!

oh brought the wine :D a beautiful, fruity, australian shiraz with a hint of oak.

If only you were just a couple of provinces over to the east. Then I could join you in a matter of mere hours as I am currently within spitting distance of our countries' boarders!

(You said the "magic" words. I love Australian Shiraz!)
